💰 Payments, Deposits & Policies

​To secure your event at SKS Events Space, please review the following payment terms and venue policies:

 

🔒 Retainer & Balance Due

  • A $350 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your event date. This amount will be applied toward your total balance.

  • The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your event.

💬 We understand that life happens and will do our best to work with you in the event of unforeseen cancellations. However, all payments are non-refundable, regardless of the reason.

 

💳 Refundable Incidental Deposit

  • A $300 refundable incidental deposit is required.

  • This deposit is due 3 days before your event.

  • It will be refunded within 4 business days after your event, provided the venue is left clean, undamaged, and all rules are followed.

 

⚠️ Fees & Late Payments

  • A $50 late fee applies if the final balance is not paid 14 days before your event.

  • If still unpaid within 7 days, the late fee increases to $100.

  • If full payment is not received within 3 days of the event, your reservation will be canceled with no refund or credit issued.

📋 General Rules

To protect our space and ensure a smooth experience for all clients, please follow these guidelines:

🚫 Not Allowed in the Venue:

  • Nails, screws, staples, or adhesives on walls

  • Smoking

  • Pets

  • On-site cooking

  • Glitter or confetti

  • Bouncy houses

  • Hookah

  • Illegal drugs or substances

🕒 All clients must vacate the venue at the scheduled end time.
Overtime is not guaranteed and may result in additional charges or loss of deposit.

 

🧼 Cleaning & Damages

Clients are responsible for maintaining and restoring the space to its original condition:

  • All trash must be collected and placed in the designated area

  • All rentals, decorations, and vendor equipment must be removed immediately after the event

  • No items may be stored or left behind

  • The client is fully responsible for any damages to the venue, including walls, floors, furniture, or fixtures. Damage may result in forfeiture of your deposit and/or additional repair costs
